Chelsea Sky Box

The building designed by Skybox LLC Architects will be located at the intersection of 11th Avenue and 23rd Street West near the Highline in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City, USA. The highly transparent façade design of the 20-story residential and commercial building is of particular appeal. The planning includes floor-to-ceiling glazing elements for the east, south and west façades of all typical floors with a height of approx. 3,50m above the fourth level, some of them integrating opening elements. In the penthouse area, glass elements, which are designed with a single-axis curvature in the corner areas, are planned with a maximum of height of 6 m. Furthermore, there are a total of 21 balconies made of steel with accessible glass floors.
