Art museum with floor-to-ceiling glass façade and façade mullions made of ultra-stable concrete in hurricane area
Project
The Pérez Art Museum Miami, or PAMM for short, is the centerpiece of the 11.7-hectare museum park and houses an impressive collection of 20th and 21st century art. The architecture of the museum is adapted to the climatic conditions of the hurricane region. The interior is made up of largely closed cubes, with glass surfaces stretched between them and a large shaded roof above. A cultural place with vacation flair with flowing transitions between inside and outside. The building's ecology includes lush hanging gardens and unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay.
