Shopping mall with free-form steel and glass gridshell
Project
The four-story building was upbeat acts as eye-catcher for the enlargement of the pedestrian zone in Eindhoven. The concrete structure is covered with a free-form triangular mesh, which acts as both the roof and facades. The course follows the main lines of the dynamic form of the design. Special nodes allow the necessary directional changes of the mesh, which has sizes of about 1.80 m in the lower part of the building and decrease slightly towards the top.
