Pivoting façade and courtyard canopy that can be opened over a large area via its shifted central axis
Project
The filigree steel and glass construction creates a protected transition from the headquarters of E.ON Energie AG in Munich to the extension buildings. The 20 m high and 8.30 m wide façade can be swung open like a gate around its offset central axis to open up the covered courtyard area in suitable weather conditions and allow natural ventilation.
