New Technical Administration Building

The new Technical Administration Building in Düsseldorf offers contemporary, flexible workspaces while enabling more efficient administrative processes for citizens. The design combines a publicly accessible plinth with a sculptural tower composed of four interlocked vertical volumes. The plinth mediates between the site's two levels and, with its green façades and landscaped roof areas, becomes a verdant oasis within the urban fabric. The custom-designed zigzag façade integrates photovoltaic panels and decentralized ventilation elements, providing passive shading in summer and harnessing solar energy in winter.
