Office building in Berlin's MediaSpree with staggered, transparent cubes
Project
East Side Cubes is an innovative office building currently being planned for Berlin’s MediaSpree. The design integrates pedestrian pathways to the Mercedes-Benz Arena as well as a small park. Visual connections between interior and exterior spaces create a stimulating atmosphere for interaction while also offering areas for retreat. The staggered, transparent glass cubes with a double façade, along with single-layer façades featuring sound-optimized ventilation, create a unique architectural concept. As a future-oriented project, East Side Cubes aims for certification under the highest sustainability standards.
