Revitalisation of Ku'Damm Karree in Berlin
Project
The existing Ku'Damm Karree, situated in the heart of Berlin's city centre, is undergoing a fundamental reorganistion. It comprises more than 137.000 sqm for multipurpose usage including retail stores, offices, apartments and the already existing theatre. Whilst the 25 storey high-rise will be refurbished, the remaining buildings will be demolished and replaced by new buildings. A controlled demolition of the lower floors of the tower is intended to make it blend into the overall structure.
