A revitalizing, sustainable and urban mixed-use new-build-project on the banks of the Spree River in Berlin

Project

ELEMENTS is a revitalizing, sustainable new mixed-use project on the banks of the Spree River in Berlin. Community involvement and access to commons as public spaces on the riverbank are key factors for the success of the project. The conceptual framework for the architecture refers to the elements of water, fire, earth, air and are translated into innovative technological solutions.

Four buildings with various façade types, including a large-scale media façade

Façade Design
The building ensemble combines various uses, including residential and office spaces, and is characterized by diverse architectural concepts. The two most prominent structures along the Spree River feature a double façade, with the outer impact pane level incorporating a large-scale media façade. The glass elements of this media façade are equipped with LED light points, which are laminated between two glass panels using casting resin.
