Residential and office building with horizontally arranged windows in the west of Los Angeles

Project

A large-scale office and residential complex is taking shape between Downtown Los Angeles and the Pacific Coast. The two structures are harmoniously integrated, yet each expresses a distinct architectural identity. The staggered arrangement of the floors creates spacious terraces that significantly enhance user comfort.

Window wall façade featuring a dynamic rhythm of alternating opaque and transparent infill panels

Façade Design
The two building volumes feature an organically shaped footprint. Setbacks in the floor slabs create a terraced building structure. The glass façades are designed as ribbon windows that span between the floor slabs. They are characterized by an interplay of transparent glazing and profiled, opaque panels. Horizontal cladding along the floor edges further accentuates the architectural design.
