Adidas HalfTime

In the newest May 5, 2021 issue of the German magazine Beton und Stahlbetonbau, Jan Mittelstädt and Boris Peter report on the structure and construction of the Adidas HalfTime, which was designed by knippershelbig together with COBE architects.

Its characteristic V-shaped reinforced concrete beams intersecting at the roof result from the integration of a multitude of intertwining design parameters, such as the structural performance, the natural lighting of the building, and solar heat gains.
